"What's With the Funky Pants, Reg?"

Even from very early on, there was something odd about the Edge. Besides his name, that is. His "moplet," his shoes, his ... funky pants? Yeh, his funky pants ... we here at News You Can Lose have dredged through the loads of pictures, and found the following:

Even at this early stage, Edge was trying to set himself apart from the others. Check out these colourful jeans!

As the years went on, Edge slowly lost the juvenile writings, instead opting for strategically placed patches. Whoa, Edge!

A few years later, Edge certainly makes a statement with these baggy orange pants. We can only hope that they were comfortable. Well, it WAS the 80s.

Seems that here, one of the fans got ahold of him. Anyone got an extra Levi's patch somewhere round their house?

The return of the patches!!! Though in 1992 much more abundant, Edge again shows us his patch collection. Em... the open shirt deserves mention here as well. *rawr*

Studs ... something yet to've been worn by the stud-muffin, himself. He completes the funky-pants with a funky-jacket, but that's a whole other story!

Like a Popmart cowboy ... Edge goes for that studded look again, this time ... just down the side.

There is the occasional choice of no pants at all. But, we think this is rare!
